Managed OpenClaw Hosting

Get WhatsApp, Telegram, and Discord connected without running servers

Managed hosting means someone else runs OpenClaw for you. No VPS, no SSH, no Docker—you sign up, configure channels and models in a dashboard, and your assistant is live in minutes. Best for users who want WhatsApp, Telegram, or Discord connected quickly without learning DevOps. Trade-offs: your data passes through the provider's infrastructure, and you typically pay more per month than a DIY VPS. But for many users, the convenience is worth it.

This page gives an overview of managed options. We link to providers we're aware of; we don't endorse or guarantee them. Always review their privacy policies and data handling before signing up.

When to Choose Managed vs VPS

Choose managed when you want:

  • Zero setup—no terminal, no servers
  • WhatsApp, Telegram, or Discord live quickly
  • Someone else to handle updates, backups, uptime
  • To avoid learning PM2, Docker, or firewall config

Choose VPS when you want:

  • Full control over data and infrastructure
  • Lower ongoing cost ($4–12/mo vs $9–25/mo managed)
  • Browser automation, heavy skills, or custom setups
  • To run on hardware you own or a provider you trust

Choose BYOS when you want managed OpenClaw but on your own VPS (Hetzner, DigitalOcean, etc.)—you provision the server; a provider installs and manages OpenClaw.

API Costs (Important)

Managed hosting covers server costs, not LLM usage. You still need API keys for Anthropic, OpenAI, or another provider—typically $20–60/mo depending on usage. Some managed plans include a free model or credits; check each provider. Set spending limits on your API accounts—uncontrolled agent loops have led to bills of hundreds or thousands of dollars.

Security and Privacy

With managed hosting, your conversations pass through the provider's infrastructure. Review their privacy policy and data handling. If you need strict data residency (e.g. EU-only), choose a provider that guarantees it (e.g. RunClaw.ai on Hetzner Germany, ClawHosters). See Security guide for general OpenClaw hardening.
